I’m currently working as a Software Engineer II at Ceph, IBM in NVMe-oF team for 3+ years - specializing in backend engineering and distributed systems. 🐙

Highlights

• Co-authored a published paper: Sentimental impact of fake news on social media using an integrated ensemble framework.

• Last year, I attended Google Summer of Code Mentor Summit 2025 in Munich, as Ceph’s GSoC org-admin.

• A couple years ago, I presented a talk at Cephalocon 2024, hosted at CERN in Switzerland. It’s available on Ceph’s Youtube channel here.

  

Projects

I’ve explored different technologies and languages - including Cloudflare Workers, C++, GoLang, Ruby, Python, etc - by creating small fun projects.

• Build Your Own Docker - a script to create a lightweight version of a container runtime using Linux Namespaces and Cgroups.

• Kanban board - a Trello-like productivity tool to drag and drop task cards between kanban boards. Made with React, TailwindCSS, and Material UI. Demo link.

Outside of work…

I write The Tangents Corner, a newsletter built around curiosity and doodles, where I share my new interests/obsessions and go on random tangents. I also use it to document fun weekend projects and hobbies.

I also love exploring digital illustration (some of it my doodles are on Behance, some of it turned into printable bookmarks on my store). Sometimes I also share photos on Unsplash, and keep a running list of books I’m reading on goodreads.

Recently, I made a short animation with Procreate and posted it on here. I hope to create a short story-driven animation someday!
